• If you don’t have fresh limes or honey, you can drink plain ginger tea and achieve the same results.
• If you don’t like ginger, you can also simply inhale the steam from the ginger boiling in water.
• Add ginger into your homemade soups, juices, smoothies and stir-fries.
• If you only have ginger powder, mix it with warm water to form a paste and then apply to forehead or other areas of the body where you are experiencing pain.
• Try using ginger essential oil.
Health Benefits Of Ginger
At Odense University in Denmark, researchers declared ginger as an effective ayurvedic remedy for migraines without any side effects.
Other studies have found that combining ginger and feverfew provides some pain relief for 65% of migraine sufferers after two hours with 19% of people experiencing complete freedom from pain after this same amount of time.
Ginger is a successful pain-reliever, because of its potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that have been deemed just as powerful as many over-the-counter medications.
Ginger also helps with regulating good circulation, calming a nervous stomach, improving digestion and absorption of nutrients, boosting the immune system, fighting cancer, soothing respiratory distress and helping with motion and morning sickness.
Don’t give up on Mother Nature! If you’ve been taking pain medications for years and are looking for other options with no side effects, give some natural remedies a try! If one remedy doesn’t work for you, try another one. Your body is intricate and unique and may not experience the same results as someone else.
