Oh! The Superpowers of Vitamin D!

Vitamin D's healing potential never ceases to amaze me...A new study showing 6 weeks of 2.5 hours of mid-day bright light exposure significantly reduced depressive symptoms in patients with bipolar disorder. 68% of patients who received bright light achieved a normal level of mood, compared to 22.2% of patients who received the placebo light. Also, more in the treatment group were able to return to normal functioning after treatment. The move away from pharmaceuticals is happening in a big way.
